Mountain Biking

It was a near perfect Saturday on June 5th to be out mountain biking. Me and a couple friends decided to go out to Bentonville,AR to a mountain bike park called Slaughter Pen. http://www.slaughterpen.com/home.html . It was pretty warm and humid but most of the trail is in the woods and covered by trees 99% of the time. By far one of the best flowing fastest trail systems we have ever ridden in this area. One of our friends really enjoys biking but he's still having some balance issues and just getting into mountain biking. Here is a couple really short, pretty much poor quality vids that I took with my iPhone.

My buddies ride Santa Cruz bikes and I ride a Kona Hoss. It's sad though they stopped making the Hoss frame last year so I guess my next bike will be a full suspension 29er,hopefully. The Hoss is a great bike for big guys. I took a 4 foot drop and weigh about 285. Didn't even bottom out the front fork. My only issue I have had so far with this bike is breaking the hanger 2 times now. Everything else is solid.
